PART TWO:
It was only about two-thirty, so we figured we had time to spare. We all rushed over to the carnival, bought our tickets, and began exploring. Vera saw that there were rides and we agreed to ride them all. Since there weren't so many rides, we rode them all at least twice, but had a blast. When we got off our last ride, we walked around again and I saw that there was one stand offering henna tattoos and face painting, and a another stand where people could play with different types of domestic animals. It was like a small animal farm.
Sky and Vera went to the other stand, while Kat and I went to the animal farm. As soon as we entered, a couple of lamb ran to Kat and began to surround and coddle her. She was overwhelmed with joy and teared up. While she was playing the lamb, I walked around and saw some puppies. There were at least ten of them and I played with them. They licked my face in affection, which I thought was cute. We had a really good time. We spent at least twenty minutes in there until we decided to leave. On our way out we met up with Sky and Vera, and Sky showed us her flower henna that covered most of her right thigh. Vera also got a henna tattoo of a skull behind her right ear. The skull was in remembrance of her late parents. In the time we spent at the carnival we were famished, so we decided to share a funnel cake. It was covered with sugar coated strawberries, powdered flour, and chocolate drizzle; it was also as big was as big as a pillow. By the time we devoured the funnel cake it was almost six o'clock, so we decided to leave. As we were on our way out, I saw Hunter. He was waiting for us near Sky's car. I then thought, how did he know where we were, because I the only people I told was my family.I looked at Sky, and before I said anymore she told me, "I told him where we were so he could come get you. Sorry K, but I gotta take the girls home, and I need to go shopping for a new dress". Before I left I hugged and thanked the girls for a great birthday. We all arrived at Sky's car and Hunter greeted the girls with a hello and they responded with a "HEY HUNTER". Hunter took my hand and we began walking to his car. On our walk, he told me, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!". I just laughed; then kissed him. When we got to his car, we began blasting the music. He told me, "You need to go home and change", and I asked him, "Why?". He said, "We're going out!" I told him, "Okay, I'm excited!". When we arrived in my driveway, we got out of the car and Hunter headed to the trunk of his car. When he returned to the front, in his hand was a garment bag to which I asked,"What's in the bag". He told me," IT'S MY JAMES BOND SUITE", to which I giggled, and he said," HEY DON'T MAKE FUN OF IT. ONCE YOU SEE ME IN THIS SUITE, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO RESIST ME". So I told him, "YOU BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT TO HONEY". When we entered my house, I found a note on the fridge. The note read," HEY BIRTHDAY GIRL, WE WENT TO BUY GROCERIES, AND WE WON'T BE BACK FOR A WHILE, SO HUNTER IS GONNA TAKE YOU OUT. AND MAKE SURE TO WEAR YOUR DRESS! HOPE YOU HAVE FUN!!! XOXO". After I read the note, I was kind of bummed, that I wouldn't get to spend time with my family. I began tearing up, and from the couch Hunter started to walk my way. He told me it was how gonna be alright, and that there will be time to spend with my family when they come back. Hunter wasn't a good secret keeper, so he ended up telling me the truth. He told me to cheer up and that how my family wasn't grocery shopping. Instead they were setting up my surprise birthday party at a warehouse. And that there was gonna be a DJ, and food and my whole family was gonna be there along with Kat, Sky, and Vera. He also explained to me why Sky said she had to take the girls home, and that she had to go "dress shopping". I was speechless, because I was clueless, but I was also really excited. I turned to look at the clock which read six-thirty. As I was looking at the clock, Hunter told me, "HEY, please don't let anyone see that you know, because I wasn't supposed to tell you and it's supposed to be a surprise. We're supposed to be there at seven, so we both need to hurry and change". I ran upstairs, and began undressing. Before I put on my dress I gazed at it for a good minute, because it felt unreal. I finished taking off my clothes and put it on. I went to my bathroom to see how it looked, and I fell in love with it. It was the most beautiful dress I'd ever seen, and I just couldn't believe it was mine. Before I went downstairs I put on a little lip gloss, and the same black heels I wore throughout my day. When I reached the bottom of the stairs, I saw how handsome Hunter looked in his "James Bond Suite". He was waiting for me at the kitchen counter. When I walked to him, he saw me, and was speechless. After he gathered his thought and stopped stuttering, he showered me with compliments about how amazing the dress was, and how beautiful I looked. I then told him,"Hey, you exactly like James Bond, you could be his long lost twin brother". We both just laughed. Hunter and I both looked at the time, and it was six forty-five. Hunter then told me, "We should go, the place is about twenty minutes away". So we headed out the door and into the car. Hunter put the directions in his phone, and we were on our way. We were on the rode for about ten minutes, when the unthinkable happened.
