One morning Vera was awaken suddenly by her dream; she was drenched in sweat as so was her bed. When she acknowledged she was awake, she just stayed in her bed, place her forearm on her forehead and tried to recall her dream. Her dream included none but the only, Henry. Not too early in the morning, he made his way over to the castle using the secret doors Vera referred him to. Once he arrived at Vera's room, they went for a walk in the gardens, using the secret doors. They began walking and talking; they were having a little disagreement about how the social status of the castle is low. Henry was informing Vera about how they should have more events, or have more of the royal families or the people of their public over in the castle to prove that the Eden family weren't a bunch of snores, or to reach out to their subjects and commune with them. That way, the people see and know on a personal level that their royal family care are concerned about them and not just international situations. Although Vera was contemplating the great suggestions, she knew in her heart that not all of it would be possible. To do things take planning and accommodating for everyone and their life schedules. Also the fact that the royal family of Eden wasn't always on the same page as some other royal families; as in they both had strict disagreements that were unresolvable. While they were walking and talking the two walked far enough out of anyone's sight and Henry gently and calmly led Vera into a corner of a wall of bushes. As he got closer to Vera, Henry told Vera, "Am I allowed to kiss you", to which Vera's stuttered, "I don't see why not". Henry leaned and placed his lips onto Vera's. Whilst in the moment, Vera's mind went blank and fixated on Henry's lips; they were gentle and soft like feathers. Once Henry pulled away, he looked at Vera like she was anyone else, not the princess. Vera began to smirk, and her eyes drifted down to his chest. Henry then directed his right hand to her chin, pulling her head up so they were looking at each other once again, and kissed her. Then he replaced his hand on her hip. One second after Henry pulled away to take a breath, he directed his head to Vera's right ear and whispered, "I told you I was right", and when he pulled his body back, he saw a puzzled look on Vera's face that didn't last a minute, she then realized what he was mentioning. Before she had a chance to counteract his statement, he kissed her again. The wind was gently blowing through Henry's hair as it was through Vera's dress. Henry placed his right hand near Vera's left ear and on her neck, and began slowly kissing her neck. Vera had her head slightly tilted to the left and was silent. As soon as she closed her eyes, she awoke.
She was still lying in her bed when little Lana came running her door in her cupcake onesie, filled with joy and jumped on Vera's bed. Vera grabbed Lana and started tickling her and kissing her cheeks while also telling her sister good morning. Vera then asked Lana, "Hey, are you hungry? Cause I am starving. How about we go down to the kitchen and get some waffles with fruit and juice?" Lana responded,"Haha, okay. But pancakes are better, and we should have chocolate milk instead of juice". Vera smiled at her sister and said, "That's even better". So two girls headed out of Vera's room to which they found Lana's maid waiting outside. All the three girls began walking towards the cooking room. Once they made their breakfast with the cooking maids, Vera and Lana met up with Vincent and Theo, and all together everyone made their way to the study room. The study room was filled with light, tables along with chairs, and a long bench alongside one of the windows. There Vera and Lana placed their food, the window at which they sat at had a beautiful view of their Kingdom. Not too soon after, their parents came through the study room doors. There, the whole family exchanged hello's and good-morning's. Lana ran up to her mother, and she picked her up and while the Queen asked Lana how she slept, the King was talking with his sons and occasionally picking on their foods. The boys got waffles instead of pancakes. When the Queen and King met back up together, they told their children their plan for the day; that the King would be working on political issues with other kingdoms, the Queen would be traveling to a near by town in their Kingdom to visit a hospital and work. So that left the children; Vincent had to work with his father, so he can become accustomed to the way the Kingdom is ran, Theo had study work to finish and then he could do what he pleases. Lana was going to spend the day with her big sister; they were going into town and adventure. After breakfast the family split up and went their own ways. Lana and Vera made their way to Lana's room to prepare themselves for the day. The girls spent at least five minutes deciding on what Lana should wear after she took a bath; considering she wanted to wear her cupcake jammies throughout the day, she made a compromise with Vera. They decided on soft yellow dress with a white thick rope lining with butterflies around the waist of her body, and white shoes. After Lana was dressed and ready to go they moved on to Vera's room; she took a bath and then they spent almost seven minutes debating what Vera should wear. Finally they agreed on a three-fourths arm lengths, french blue color dress that reached the bottom of her knee's, and beige flats. When they were done, it was time to start their day.
When the girls got on the road it was about twelve in the afternoon. It was about a twenty minute care ride into town, and the girl passed the time telling jokes and giggling. Once they made it to the town, they were surprised to find a small market going on. The girls began walking through the little market and wandering around. Little Lana spotted a few ponies and told Vera," Vea can I have the ponies", Vera responded, "Lana there's four ponies, you can't possibly have them all?", Lana told Vera again,"Fine, then I'll take one, no, I'll take them all.", Vera told her,"Where will you put them?" Lana said," I'll hid them in my room, but you can't tell mom and dad". Vera tried reasoning with little Lana by telling her," Okay, well until you can actually take care of yourself, how about you ride a pony and then we keep walking, and maybe even get a snack" Lana told her," fine, I'll be waiting though". So eventually little Lana rode one of the four ponies and she had so much fun that she didn't want to get off. Vera had to pull her off and then they were on their way again, they were walking down the market and stopped at a little tent selling apples. Vera bought a few and then she heard music of similar playing the night of her mother's birthday ball. As Lana was chomping away at her apple, her and Vera were making their way closer to the music. When they arrived, Vera was surprised to see Henry once again. Once Henry finally laid his eyes on her, he was filled with wonderment and confusion. When the two gathered themselves together, Henry set his instrument down and made his way towards the princess. They started talking again, Henry asked her " What are you doing here? Hello by the way", to which Vera responded " It is was nice day, so we decided to take an adventure through one of our beautiful towns. Seeing you here is just a plus" Vera responded. Henry smiled and Lana was still chomping away at her apple fairly loudly. Henry took a knee and began talking to the young princess," Hello your highness, I'm Henry. What's your name?" Lana quickly tried to hid behind Vera's legs and shyly said,"I'm Lana". " Well Lana I think I have a friend that would love to meet you, her name is Brinx, she's new to her and she's a golden retriever. I would love it if you would take care of her, she is very special and you can change her name if you'd like" Henry told Lana. She was so over filled with joy and amazement that she kept squealing and smiling. Once she got the puppy in her hands she was stroking her, gently kissing her, talking to her and told Henry "Thank you" Henry responded "No problem". Henry finally stood up and Vera told him, "Oh come on dude, I just got her away from the ponies", to which Henry responded"
" Aw, I'm sorry. I didn't know, but hey they're a cute duo. Are you really going to be the person who rips the poor innocent puppy from your little sisters' hands" As a smirk appeared on her lips, Vera scolded him with her eyes, then responded, "Ugh no, of course not. I couldn't do that". Before Henry could say anything everyone heard a loud crash, it turned out to be some people had got into an intense and heated argument that inevitably turned into a fight. Once they started fighting other people joined in, and a small market riot broke out. There were many people pushing and shoving joining in the fight, and trying to protect their tents from being robbed. It was getting really rowdy and the riot was progressing towards the royal family so Vera picked Lana up and Henry took Vera's hand and he began leading them away the riot. It took about seven minutes to get clear of the fighting, but as soon as they did Henry was leading the princesses somewhere that was not to far away from the town. Turns out he was taking them to his home. Once they entered the medium size cottage, it was very homey; couches with handmade blankets, colorful items, a few plants, and much more. When they got settled, Lana was very scared as well as the puppy. Vera tried to calm her down and reassure her that everything was going to be okay. She took Lana in her arms and sat down on the couch and rocked her to sleep. In that time Henry was making tea to calm the princess, they started talking, "Oh my gosh, that was horrifying, I hope the people are alright", Henry responded," You haven't seen the worst, but that's the third one in two months" Vera was confused," How do things like this happen, why isn't there anything done about it, why did I not know things like this happen in the town. Oh, I am terribly sorry you have to live through this, if I'd known things like this were happening I definitely would've tried to help and do something" "And that's why I like you" Henry told Vera. She responded, "You know nothing about me." "You're absolutely right, so let me learn". Vera then took her tea, and began gazing Henry's house as if it were a gallery, there were many pictures of him and his family, but no father. Before she had the opportunity to ask any questions he told her, "He left when my little sister was three, god forbid the man have two children but at that time we learned that three was his limit, with one more on the way. He couldn't take it, the responsibility, care, or love, so he left. He left my mother with nothing but a home, a pregnant woman, and already three children". He then began going into detail about how his pregnant mother had to get a job to support three children and a fourth on the way. They moved to his bedroom, there they were getting closer. Vera began to know things, horrible things that can only be imagined because she hasn't lived it. They talked for about two hours, by the time they realized it was getting late into the afternoon, they got carried away with the talking. It was almost four o'clock, and Vera made her way towards the couch to get Lana and her puppy, they knew they needed to get home or else their family would be worried. So they did so, Vera carried Lana once again in her arms and began to head for the door. Henry so generously offered to walk her back into town, and took Lana in his arms to give Vera a break. It was about a fifteen minute walk back into town with the pace they were walking at. The sky was becoming a dusky orange and it was filled with partial clouds. Once they made it back into town they did their best to rush back to the car. When they made it,the time to exchange good-byes. Vera told Henry,
" Thank you so much for today, for keeping us safe and for a new member of the royal family" "Anytime princess, maybe the next time we'll get the chance to be together under better circumstances" Henry replied. "Next time"? "Hopefully" "Hopefully" the two went back at each other, and before the conversation ended, they shared one kiss. Vera and Lana were on their way home. Once again it was a twenty minute drive back to the castle. When they arrived home, little Lana ran bursting through the front two doors with Vera walking steadily behind her. The Queen, King, Vincent, and Theo were walking in the study room, Lana went running through the double doors straight into her mothers arms and she still had her puppy, not to long after Vera followed. Everyone was very relieved to see that their sisters, and daughters were alive and alright. They did have many questions to what, when how and why, but they decided to save that for another day.
She was still lying in her bed when little Lana came running her door in her cupcake onesie, filled with joy and jumped on Vera's bed.
